November at Posie Fields | A Season of Rest & Rooting

Dear Posie Fields Friends,

November has arrived, and with it came one of the most memorable moments of my life. Earlier this month, my daughter Madie and I flew out to Los Angeles after I won a national sweepstakes to meet Lori Greiner from Shark Tank. The trip was part of a fundraiser supporting the Los Angeles Firefighters, and it turned into an experience we’ll cherish forever.

I had the incredible opportunity to sit down one-on-one with Lori to share the story and vision behind Posie Fields. She absolutely loved what we’re building and wants to continue the conversation, offering guidance and advice as we work to grow our brand into a “Martha Stewart-level” lifestyle company.

That evening, Madie and I joined Lori, the firefighters, and 30 of the top entrepreneurs she has invested in for dinner, a truly inspiring gathering filled with stories of creativity, perseverance, and purpose. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that reminded me how far this dream has come, and how much beauty can bloom from faith and hard work.

Even more exciting, the entire experience will be televised in an upcoming December episode of Shark Tank! I’ll share the official air date as soon as I find out, so stay tuned. I’ll also be posting photos and behind-the-scenes moments from the trip on Instagram and Facebook, so be sure to follow along there.

Back home in Georgia, November’s first frost has gently signaled the end of our growing season. The fields have shifted from color to calm as we pull up summer crops and plant for spring. While the blooms rest, we’re busy behind the scenes nurturing the next generation of flowers that love this cool weather and will soon burst to life come March.

And though the fields are resting, there’s still plenty happening here at Posie Fields!

 A Note from the Garden

When the frost came this month, it was both a goodbye and a beginning. Nature reminded us, as she always does, that endings make space for what’s next. The fields might look quiet, but beneath the soil, the next chapter is already unfolding.

In our lives, too, this season invites us to slow down and root ourselves in gratitude, in connection, in faith that what we plant now will bloom later. Whether it’s a new dream, a deeper relationship, or simply a commitment to rest, this is the time to nurture it.

As we move into the holidays, I hope you take moments to pause, breathe in the beauty around you, and know that this season of stillness is sacred. Growth is happening, even when we can’t yet see it.

What's Happening on the Farm in November

We’ll be open Today, Saturday, November 15, from 9 AM to 2 PM, and the farm is full of treasures for flower lovers and gardeners alike.

Cold-Loving Cutting Gardens
Now is the perfect time to plant, truly! Many of our hardy annuals thrive in the cool months, establishing strong roots before blooming beautifully in spring. We have ready-to-plant cutting garden collections available at the farm, including favorites like dianthus, snapdragons, strawflower, white lace (orlaya), yarrow, and rudbeckia.

Greenhouse Gift Shop
Step inside our cozy greenhouse and browse our petite shop. filled with dried flowers, dried flower centerpieces, lavender bundles, and seasonal gifts. Our signature dried lavender makes the perfect Thanksgiving hostess gift, aromatic, elegant, and culinary-grade (yes, you can cook with it!).

Last of the Sunflowers 🌻

We’ve harvested the last few golden faces of the season, available while supplies last. They’re the perfect way to bring one more burst of sunshine indoors before winter settles in.

Be sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates and behind-the-scenes peeks at the farm.

Why Posie Fields?

I started Posie Fields after a long, winding journey—from stay-at-home mom to household manager, then into farming, and finally to flowers. It was in the garden that I found healing, growth, and vision. What began as a personal restoration has become a place for others to experience beauty and connection, too.

Do you remember visiting your grandparents’ home as a kid and seeing heirloom flowers blooming in their yard or tucked into a vase on the table? Those flowers—often open-pollinated and passed down from generation to generation—carry memories, emotion, and tradition.

At Posie Fields, we’re here to keep that tradition blooming. Whether you’re picking a bouquet from our fields, planting our flowers at home, or celebrating a special moment with us on the farm, we hope that flowers will color your life with meaning.

We’re proud members of the Slow Flowers Movement, which means everything you get from us is seasonal, local, and sustainably grown—with a story behind every stem.

A Closing Thought

As we head into Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our loyal customers. Your continued support, encouragement, and love for Posie Fields mean more than words can say. Because of you, our little flower farm continues to grow, dream, and bloom, season after season.

From every bouquet you’ve brought home to every kind word you’ve shared, you’ve helped make this community what it is, a place rooted in beauty, joy, and connection.

May your home be filled with warmth, laughter, and love this holiday season.
And remember, even when the fields rest, the roots are still growing.

With deep gratitude,

Erin Champion
